On December 6, 2023, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, as well as Lect. Snit Sanghlao, Assistant Dean for Engineering and Environment, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium (IARC), and UGTV, Universitas Gunadarma (UG), along with PT. Epsindo Prima Solusi, an NVIDIA Elite Partner from the Republic of Indonesia.
This occasion provided an opportunity for the visiting delegation to explore the Faculty ICT, as well as learn about the progress of the MAI Center project, the management of AI and HPC Cluster systems, examples of research applications in the fields of science and engineering, particularly in medical science, utilizing Machine Learning and Quantum Information Systems. Additionally, members of the Indonesia Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium (IARC) expressed interest in perceiving, exchanging experiences, and collaborating on the efficient use of AI and HPC system resources. Furthermore, there was discussions covered potential collaborations in academics, research, student exchanges, and organizing academic conferences on AI, Biomedical Science, and Technology at both the faculty and university levels in the future.

Following the discussion, Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, and Lect. Snit Sanghlao, also led the delegation to visit the MU AI Center and the Grand Auditorium. Furthermore, Mr. Thanin Rabiabpho, a Ph.D. student in Computer Science, introduced the Mahidol-Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit (MIRU Lab) to them.
