On 31 July 2022, ICT Mahidol senior students organized the “Welcome Freshy & ICT x DST Sairahus 2022” for the 2022 freshmen of the 2 programs of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology: B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). At the beginning of the event, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Academic Administration and Acting Deputy Dean for Organizational Communication and Engagement, gave a warm welcome speech to all students.
The activity called “Welcome Freshy 2022″ recreational activities took place in the morning at Grand Auditorium and Bits & Bytes Hall, 4th floor, ICT Building, Salaya Campus to build a good relationship between the seniors and the freshmen. In the afternoon, there was an activity “ICT x DST Sairahus 2022” with the theme “SPY x SAIRAHUS,” in which the freshmen had to find their own “Sairahus Line” (Group of fraternity and sorority). They were then introduced to their Sairahus Line at the end of the activity.
The goals of this event were to introduce freshmen to their senior students and to encourage them to support one another socially, emotionally, and academically.
