On January 11, 2024, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy, Deputy Dean for Research, as well as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suppawong Tuarob, Head of the Machine Intelligence and Knowledge Engineering (MIKE) research group, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Khaled Nabil Salama, an expert in Electrical and Computer Engineering and one of the co-founders of the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Program and Principal Investigator of the Sensors Lab at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST).
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss collaboration in education, research, and student exchange between the ICT Mahidol and KAUST. The meeting took place in Room A1, 1st Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University.
After the collaboration discussions, the Dean and faculty members from ICT guided Prof. Khaled Nabil Salama on a tour to explore the educational facilities, including the Mahidol University AI Center (MU AI Center), the Mahidol-AIST Research Unit (MARU), the Grand Auditorium, Bits & Bytes Hall, Smart Classroom, and the IoT Laboratory, with Mr.Tamakorn Jiamrachada, Computer Technical Officer from Communication Networks Management Unit served as the guide.
