On September 30 – October 1, 2023, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), organized a training program titled, “Web Application Penetration Testing, Batch 5”. The training was provided to 150 participants, including government officials, private sector employees, students, and the general public. At the beginning of the training, Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, ICT Mahidol, as well as Ms. Suchana Sinthavathavorn, Director of the Quality of Life and Security Development and Promotion Department, depa gave opening remarks for the event. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Dr. Ittipon Rassameeroj, Dr. Dolvara Guna-Tilaka, and Dr. Songpon Teerakanok, Instructors of Computer Science group, served as keynote speakers via Webex Meetings.
The training, “Web Application Penetration Testing, Batch 5” aimed to provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills in identifying vulnerabilities and conducting penetration testing on web applications. Participants were taught the principles and methods of performing web application penetration testing accurately and securely. Through the training, participants will be able to apply the knowledge gained to enhance their security and that of their organizations.
