On 3 February 2022 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) held “Wai Kru Ceremony” for the freshmen of B. Sc. in Digital and Science Technology (DST Thai Program), Academic Year 2021. Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, presided over the ceremony. Moreover, executives, faculty members, and 1st year students attended the ceremony at the Innovative Space, Mahidol University, Salaya campus, and virtually via Webex Meetings.
At the beginning of the event, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, lit incense and candles to worship the Triple Gems, then greeted all students. The student representatives then delivered a speech and flowers in order to express their gratitude towards the teachers. After that, a wrist binding ceremony was held to welcome the students. Lastly, the executives, faculty members, and students sang Mahidol song together.
