On 17 October 2022 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), welcomed the Parents Network and approximately 130 grade 11 students of Suankularb Wittayalai School for their visit. On this occasion, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, addressed an opening remark to all participants. Following that, Asst. Prof. Dr. Charnyote Pluempitiwiriyawej, ICT Instructor, gave a presentation about the overall information of the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) to all students. Then, “Admission Criteria for Academic Year 2023” was explained by Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Assistant Dean of Human Resource Management; and “Student Activities & International Opportunities” was presented by Mr. Stephen Edward Smith, Student and Alumni Engagement. Finally, alumni of Suankularb Wittayalai School: Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Mr. Thannatorn Thongsuk, and Mr. Arus Thienmee, 1st year students of ICT International Program, shared their study experiences with all students at the Grand Auditorium, 4th floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
Furthermore, the Parents Network and the students paid a visit to the MU AI Center, where Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Engineering and Systems, as well as Lect. Snit Sanghlao, Assistant Dean of Engineering and Infrastructure, shared information about modern and high-performance AI tools. Lastly, they were also shown a Smart Classroom, a Computer Laboratory, and the Mahidol-Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit (MIRU) of ICT Mahidol.
