On 2 November 2022 – The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sudsanguan Ngamsuriyaroj, Program Chair of B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Program Chair of M.Sc. in Cyber Security and Information Assurance, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Program Chair of B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), as well as ICT Mahidol instructors, staff, and DST Thai Program 2nd year students, participated in a study visit at Bank of Thailand (BOT). On this occasion, Ms. Sudarat Kijsipong, Senior Director, Information Technology Department, welcomed the ICT Mahidol instructors and students at Puey Ungphakorn Room, Building 1, 4th floor, Bank of Thailand, Bangkok.
During the visit, the executive team of the Bank of Thailand presented BOT’s organizational chart, IT career overall information, and advice on internship and working at BOT. In addition, Mr. Aphiwat Punyapiwat, Batch 5, and Ms. Boonyada Lojanarungsiri, Batch 14, ICT Mahidol alumni, shared their experiences and impressions of working at BOT with all ICT Mahidol instructors and students.
The study visit to Bank of Thailand was one of the activities under the project to improve DST students’ IT potentials, which aimed to expose students to real-world work by providing them with opportunities to see and understand the application of IT in work and work operation in Data Center which will be useful for their future work.
