On March 28, 2023 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, welcomed delegates from Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) the Russian Federation on their visit for a special lecture and the introduction of the scholarship of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Scholarship Introduction” to ICT Mahidol instructors, and third-year students majoring in Multimedia Systems under the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology Program (ICT International program). Additionally, Mr. Denis Stolyarov, Head of Student Department, Skoltech, provided information on the scholarship, while Professor Dmitry Dylov, Head of the Computational Imaging Laboratory, lectured on “Modern Art with Artificial Intelligence,” and Professor Alexey Frolov, Head of Research Group, Project Center for Next Generation Wireless and IoT, presented “Machine Learning in 5G/ 6G Protocols” to all students at Room IT203, ICT Building, Salaya.
These special lectures were parts of the academic collaboration activities between ICT Mahidol and Skoltech, aiming to providing knowledge to deepen students’ understanding of research work in various fields, which will be an inspiration for them to create successful research works in the future. Additionally, Skoltech offered a scholarship, supported by H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, for Thai students who would like to pursue master’s degrees in Data Science, Materials Science, and Energy Systems at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), the Russian Federation.
