The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), congratulates Miss. Aemon Thipsombat, Miss. Akkarapa Tongprasit, as well as Mr. Phatra Wongsapsakul, 1st-year students from the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), on receiving an honorable mention award in the category “Innovation or Prototype leading to practical implementation” from the “Social Media Competition: Innovation and Projects for the Development of Higher Education Institutions toward Tobacco-Free Products 2024.” The awarded project was under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development.
The competition, organized by the National Alliance for Tobacco Free Thailand, under the Project creating a smoke-free environment in higher education institutions, as well as Thai Health Professional Alliance Against Tobacco. The competition sought social media content, including video clips, printed materials, and prototype projects that could be expanded and utilized to promote and publicize tobacco-free products in educational institutions. The results of the competition were announced on December 29, 2023.
The Faculty of ICT commends the students for their outstanding achievement and considers it a source of pride for the Faculty.
