Miniture Plant Pot: A Game-Based Learning System for Plant Monitoring Based on IoT Technology
Abstract:
The game application connects to the pot which attached with raspberry pi and sensors that can receive the status of the surrounding environment of the plant such as soil moisture and light intensity to analyze the plant needs for facilitating children and youth to learn about the suitable environment for plants. These data will be sent via internet using internet of things technology to display on the smartphone. In the game, it has character’s collection which can be found by attracting them using decoration that is selling in the store.
Objectives:
The purpose of project is to encourage children and youth to aware of the environmental issues by giving the knowledge of planting and taking care of them. The project focuses on making children and youth feel fun and excited from learning by using game application to increase children’s interests.
