On 15 October 2021 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University, served as the guest speaker on the topic “Research in AI Field” in the workshop “Research Integrity and Research Misconduct” held by Research Unit, Faculty of Tropical Medicine via Zoom Meeting.
The objective of this workshop was to equip all 500 participants including staff of Faculty of Tropical Medicine, and staff of Mahidol University, with understanding in Research Integrity and Research Misconduct in various areas including: PDPA in Medical Research, Research related to Herbal Products, Herbal Products Act, Research related to Artificial Intelligence, Research with Potentially Vulnerable People, Multi-institutional Research, Collection/Use of data or Biomaterial for Human Research, as well as Research during Epidemic Situations which includes Ethical Issues in Medical Social Science Research, Ethical Issues related to Medical Devices, etc.
