ICT Mahidol welcomed students from the College of Management, Chang Gung University, Republic of China (Taiwan), on the occasion of their visit to the faculty, and attended a special lecture on “Federated Learning”

On July 11, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), warmly welcomed students from the College of Management, Chang Gung University, Republic of China (Taiwan) on the occasion of their visit to the faculty. On this occasion, Dr. Wudhichart Sawangphol, Assistant Dean for Research; Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, the Head of the Machine Vision and Information Transfer Lab (MVIT) and Program Chair of the Ph.D. in Computer Science; Asst. Prof. Dr. Mores Prachyabrued, Instructor of the Computer Science Academic Group; and Dr. Myat Su Yin, Senior Researcher, together with Mr. Thanin Rabiabpho; Mr. Rangwan Kasantikul, Ph.D. students in Computer Science, hosted the students in room A1 on the 1st floor of ICT Building, Salaya.

During the visit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mores Prachyabrued introduced the Mahidol-Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit (MIRU) and showcased various research projects conducted at the MIRU Lab.  Following that, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka delivered a special talk on ‘Federated Learning’ to all students in room A1.
