On January 22, 2025, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, and Dr. Kanoksak Wattanachote, Instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group, welcomed delegates from the Yunnan Province Preparatory College for Overseas Study (YPPCOS), People’s Republic of China, for a meeting to discuss academic cooperation with ICT Mahidol. The meeting was held at Room IT426, 4th floor, ICT Building, Salaya.
The delegates from Yunnan Province Preparatory College for Overseas Study (YPPCOS), People’s Republic of China, included:
- Shen Yi, Director, Thai Center of YPPCOS
- Yang Zhizhe, Consultant, Thai Center of YPPCOS
- Dong Shaowei, Deputy Director, Thai Center of YPPCOS
- Liu Zhenning, Deputy Director, Thai Center of YPPCOS
The purpose of this academic collaboration meeting was to discuss cooperation regarding the recruitment of students from Yunnan Province, People’s Republic of China, to pursue their studies at the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University. Additionally, it explored opportunities for ICT faculty members to visit the People’s Republic of China to recruit potential students and introduce the Faculty’s programs and opportunities available to students. The meeting also included discussions on signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for academic collaboration.
