ICT Mahidol welcomed delegates from Harbin Institute of Technology, People’s Republic of China

On July 4, 2024 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT Mahidol), along with Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resource, and Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, welcomed delegates from Harbin Institute of Technology, People’s Republic of China, on the occasion of their academic visit. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, Mahidol University, as well as Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattaraporn Posoknistakul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Special Affairs, Faculty of Engineering, and staff from the International Relations Division of Mahidol University, also attended the reception at Meeting Room 530, 5th floor, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya.

The delegates included:

• Prof. Kun LIU, Assistant to Dean, School of Architecture
• Ms. Jing YU, Program Coordinator, Office of International Affairs

The objective of this visit was to explore the possibility of academic and research collaborations with Mahidol University including student exchange, collaboration in the establishment of Double Degree Programs, and joint research cooperation in the future.

After the meeting, the Dean and faculty members from the ICT Mahidol also guided the guests to visit the faculty’s educational facilities, such as the Mahidol University Artificial Intelligence Center (MU AI Center), the Grand Auditorium, and the Mahidol-Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit (MIRU).
