ICT Mahidol Instructor and Staff Served as Guest Speakers for the “Technology and AI for Education” Training Program (Batch 2)

On March 23, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mores Prachyabrued, Program Director of M.Sc. in Game Technology and Gamification, and Director of ImmerSense Laboratory, along with Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid, Audio-Visual Technical Officer from the Audio Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Department; Mr. Chalermpol Phuwatadisit from Division of Information Technology (MUIT), Office of the President, Mahidol University; and Mr. Sibsan Suksuchano, a special expert in Computer Science from the Department of Computational Science and Digital Technology, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Science, Kasetsart University, served  as guest speakers for the training program “Technology and AI for Education: Enhancing the Efficiency of Teaching and Learning in Science, Mathematics, Thai Language, and English with Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the Development of Digital-Age Learners, Batch 2.”

The speakers delivered a session on “Beyond the Classroom: Learning and Presenting in the Metaverse,” providing fundamental knowledge on creating virtual environments using the Spatial web application. The session was attended by over 300 educators and academic personnel from the Department of Local Administration (DLA) across Thailand and was held at Alexander Hotel, Bangkok.

The “Technology and AI for Education” training program, organized by the Department of Local Administration, Ministry of Interior, aimed to enhance and develop the capabilities of educators and academic personnel by integrating digital technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into teaching and learning. The program covered various aspects, including curriculum design, digital learning media development, assessment and evaluation, operational efficiency improvement, and classroom research. Additionally, it emphasized safe, ethical, and responsible use of digital technology and AI, aligning with global student competency assessments such as PISA and 21st Century Skills. The initiative equiped educators with the necessary tools to adapt to technological advancements and future challenges.
