On March 15, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized a seminar titled “Snap, Taste, Share: How to Create Viral Content.” The event featured Mr. Chaiwat Suttisinth (Pran Nick), the owner of the TikTok channel @prannickcheckin and a well-known influencer specializing in video production. He conducted a training session for 60 participants, including Mahidol University staff, students and the general public, sharing insights into travel video production techniques to create engaging and trendy content. The seminar took place at Rooms IT 211 and IT 212, 2nd floor, ICT Mahidol, Salaya Campus.
This seminar was part of the Short Video Contest for Promoting Tourism, Culture, and Local Lifestyles in Nakhon Pathom, organized by ICT Mahidol. The objective was to provide knowledge on video production for tourism promotion, covering key topics such as analyzing strengths of content themes and target audiences, camera angles and composition techniques, creating short videos for platforms like Reels and TikTok, producing long-form content for YouTube and Facebook, video editing techniques tailored to each platform, high-quality video export settings, and leveraging technology to enhance video appeal. The training aimed to equip participants with essential skills for creating tourism promotional videos that they could apply in their daily lives.
The Short Video Contest for Promoting Tourism, Culture, and Local Lifestyles in Nakhon Pathom is an initiative by ICT Mahidol to highlight the province’s attractions, including its cuisine, temples, and tourist sites. Contest themes include “The Charm of Local Culture and Lifestyles,” “Must-Visit Places in Nakhon Pathom,” “Sustainable Tourism in Nakhon Pathom,” and “Nakhon Pathom from a Foodie’s Perspective: Cuisine, Culture, and Thai Identity.” The contest encourages the creative use of technology in video production to make Nakhon Pathom’s tourism more appealing and widely recognized.
