On April 2, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with the Thai IoT Association and Lifestyle Technology Co., Ltd., organized MUICT-AST The Series Seminar under the theme of “Smart Home IoT Training.” In this regard, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, an instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group, officially delivered opening remarks at the event. The session featured industry experts from Lifestyle Technology Co., Ltd., including Mr. Sansawee Sakdarak, Product Specialist; Mr. Saharat Junsing, Lifestyle’s Solution Expert; Mr. Artit Sukchuy; Smart Solution Specialist; and Mr. Chalermpon Charoonkittipong, Lifestyle’s Solution Expert, to provide insights into the development of smart home systems utilizing the Home Assistant platform and Tuya smart home devices. The seminar was conducted in the IT104 Computer Laboratory, 1st Floor, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
The MUICT-AST The Series Seminar on “Smart Home IoT Training” aimed to provide participants with both fundamental and advanced knowledge of integrating various devices and services with the Home Assistant platform, including the practical applications of the Tuya IoT platform, system configuration, and automation setup for Tuya IoT devices such as smart lighting and switches. The seminar provided participants with practical insights into Smart Home and IoT technologies, enabling them to apply these concepts within their respective organizations.
