ICT Mahidol Organized “Orientation Session for 2025 Japan Internships”

On March 27, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) organized the “Orientation Session for 2025 Japan Internships” for 26 students from the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program). These students will be undertaking ICT-related internships at prestigious institutions in Japan, including the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), NARA Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Tokyo City University (TCU), Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT), Osaka Institute of Technology (OIT), Osaka University (OU), Tohoku University, Kyushu University, and Aoyama Gakuin University.

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Instructor in the Computer Science Academic Group and Program Chair of the M.Sc. in Cyber Security and Information Assurance, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaiyong Ragkhitwetsagul, Instructor in the Computer Science Group and Software Engineering and Business Analytics Research Clusters (SEBA), shared valuable insights and essential information with the students. The event took place in Room IT331, 3rd Floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.

Additionally, Miss Russarin Eaimrittikrai, and Miss Sasasuang Pattanakitjaroenchai, fourth-year students from the ICT International Program, who previously interned at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) last year, shared their experiences with the attendees.

The “Orientation Session for 2025 Japan Internships” aimed to provide students with comprehensive information on their upcoming internships in Japan, covering topics such as document preparation, accommodation arrangements, personal readiness, and adapting to life abroad.
