ICT Mahidol Welcomed Delegates from National Central University (NCU), Republic of China (Taiwan), for Academic Collaboration and The 2025 Joint Workshop on IoT

From March 17–19, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, Instructor in the Computer Science Group, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, warmly welcomed a delegation from National Central University (NCU), Republic of China (Taiwan). The visit aimed to discuss academic and research collaborations and included The 2025 Joint Workshop and Research Talks on IoT under the theme “Sensing Data Processing and Analysis Using AI and Machine Learning.” The sessions were held at Room A2, 1st floor, ICT Mahidol, Salaya.

The NCU delegation comprised:

  • Prof. Dr. Po-Lei Lee, Professor and Associate Dean, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
  • Mr. Nguyen Khanh Duy, Ph.D. student, Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering
  • Miss Wu-Min Sung, Ph.D. student, Department of Communication Engineering

Over the course of three days, the NCU delegates conducted a series of workshops and research talks on IoT under the theme “Sensing Data Processing and Analysis Using AI and Machine Learning,” covering various key topics:

  • March 17, 2025: PedCross: A System to Predict Pedestrian Crossing for Autonomous Vehicles by Prof. Dr. Min-Te Sun and Mr. Nguyen Khanh Duy
  • March 18, 2025: IoT-based Crowdsensing Data Analysis with AI and Machine Learning by Prof. Dr. Chih-Lin Hu and Miss Wu-Min Sung, followed by Remote Sensing Data Analysis with AI and Machine Learning by Prof. Dr. Ying-Nong Chen
  • March 19, 2025: Biomedical Signal Analysis with AI and Machine Learning by Prof. Dr. Po-Lei Lee
