ICT Mahidol hosted special lecture for participants of MUICT & ENVI Mahidol Hackathon 2025: Digital Innovation for Carbon Neutrality Society on “Prompt Engineering for Developers”

On February 27, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) organized a special lecture for 15 student teams from Mahidol University participating in the MUICT & ENVI Mahidol Hackathon 2025: Digital Innovation for Carbon Neutrality Society. The lecture, titled “Prompt Engineering for Developers”, was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, who shared valuable insights on designing prompts for artificial intelligence (Prompt Engineering) and their applications in software and program development. The session was conducted online via Webex Meetings.

The MUICT & ENVI Mahidol Hackathon 2025: Digital Innovation for Carbon Neutrality Society is a collaborative initiative between the Faculty of ICT, the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, and the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT), Mahidol University. The competition aims to provide undergraduate students from Mahidol University with an opportunity to engage in problem-solving through algorithm development while enhancing their programming skills. Through this Hackathon, participants will also explore the role of information technology in environmental sustainability, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and transitioning towards a carbon-neutral society.

The Hackathon Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2025, while the Pitching Day will take place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at ICT Mahidol.
