On October 16, 2024, the AI Club of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akara Supratak, Instructor of Computer Science Academic Group and advisor of the AI Club, organized the competition “MUICT Hackathon 2024: Alveolar Antral Artery Detection in CBCT images” for students from both programs: the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). The opening ceremony of the competition was held in the Grand Auditorium, 4th floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.
The “MUICT Hackathon 2024: Alveolar Antral Artery Detection in CBCT Images” will be held online from October 17–19, 2024. The event aims to enhance knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and provide students with the opportunity to develop their work and teamwork skills through a Hackathon format. This competition focuses on using AI models, developed through Deep Learning techniques, to detect the location of the Alveolar Antral Artery in CBCT images. This will enable students to further hone their skills in AI model development.
