On August 1, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development, representing the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led the first-year students of the academic year 2024 from the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), in joining the MU new student’s orientation ceremony for the academic year 2024. The ceremony was presided over by Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, FACP, Acting President of Mahidol University, who delivered an inspiring speech to welcome the new students of Mahidol University, Batch 135. The event was also attended by the university’s administrative team and faculty members from various departments, who extended their warm welcome to the new students.
Following that, there was a Mahidol Talk session where the new students exchanged experiences and learned about university life from Mahidol University alumni. Additionally, a performance by the MU Choir was conducted at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya, and online via the Mahidol University Facebook Page.
This ceremony aimed to officially welcome new students to the university, inspire them in their studies and life. It also aimed to instill a sense of pride and encouragement in the students so that they can contribute to society.
