ICT Mahidol won an honorable mention award for Oral Presentation at the Mahidol University Quality Fair 2024

On November 26, 2024, staff members from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), participated in the Mahidol University Quality Fair 2024 under the theme “Operations Towards Sustainability: Driving Systems for Sustainable Practices.”

During the event, Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, FACP, President of Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony and participated in a panel discussion titled “Student Sustainable Lifestyles.” Joining him were Mr. Purat Osathanugrah, President of Bangkok University; Ms. Pimpan Diskul na Ayudhaya, Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage; and Mr. Teerapat Sripiboonpanich, a student in the Bachelor of Science Program in Bioresources and Environmental Biology (International Program). The panel also highlighted Mr. Teerapat’s participation in the Sustainable Development Goals + Mobility Mahidol University Projects (SDGs + Mobility MaPs) program at the National University of Singapore. The session was moderated by Dr. Rapee Boonplueang, Deputy Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, and was conducted as a hybrid event at Prince Mahidol Hall and via the Mahidol University Digital KM Masterclass platform.

This year’s MUQD Fair featured submissions from ICT Mahidol staff in both the Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation categories. The event, held at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya, and online via the Mahidol University Digital KM Masterclass website, showcased a total of 15 projects.

ICT Mahidol congratulates the team behind the project “Reducing Waste and Investments in Hazardous Community Materials,” which included Mr. Somsak Tanasri, Head of the Building and Landscape Unit; Mr. Pairoj Chatrattikorn, Electrical Engineer; Mr. Theeradath Baugate, Engineer; and Mr. Pidsanu Phormmongkol, General Administration Officer. The team received an honorable mention in the Oral Presentation category, along with a prize of 2,500 THB. Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resources, attended the event to congratulate and encourage all ICT staff who participated in the presentations at Prince Mahidol Hall.
