ICT Mahidol Participated in the “Mahidol QD Champion Forum 2025”

On March 19, 2025, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk, Deputy Dean for Organizational Development and Special Affairs, and Chair of the Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), along with faculty members, participated in the “Mahidol QD Champion Forum 2025.”

On this occasion, Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, delivered an opening remark and presented certificates to academic programs that achieved AUN-QA accreditation. Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug, Ph.D., Vice President for Quality Development and Social Engagement, addressed the objectives of the event.

During the event, Dr. Pawitra Liamruk participated in a panel discussion on “Developing Curricula to Meet International Standards,” sharing insights into the quality assurance evaluation process of the Bachelor of Science Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) at ICT Mahidol. This program has been recognized for meeting international standards and has consecutively achieved Level 6 accreditation (out of a maximum of 7) under the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) framework as an “Example of Best Practice.” The session was moderated by Dr. Veerades Panvisavas, a faculty member from Mahidol University International College (MUIC).

Additionally, ICT Mahidol organized a poster exhibition to present lessons learned and best practices in implementing the AUN-QA quality framework and applying the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) for organizational development. The exhibition was held at the Grand Ballroom, Mahidol Sitthakarn Conference Center, Salaya Campus.

The “Mahidol QD Champion Forum 2025” was organized by the Division of Quality Development, Mahidol University, with the aim of providing the Mahidol community with knowledge on quality assurance strategies, techniques, and leadership approaches. The forum highlighted how institutional leaders, administrators, and program chairs integrate the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) framework into their units, demonstrating tangible results that pave the way for the Thailand Quality Award (TQA). The event also emphasized the importance of leveraging ASEAN and international accreditation standards to develop curricula that produce graduates who effectively meet societal demands, ultimately leading to regional and global quality recognition.
