On December 2, 2024, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), along with the faculty’s executives, instructors, and staff, participated in the merit-making in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. This event was held to honor His Majesty on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, National Day, and Father’s Day, December 5, 2024, at the Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya.
Following the initial ceremony, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat joined the chanting and tribute ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sompop Prathanturarug, Vice President for Quality Development and Social Engagement, represented the President of Mahidol University by performing the ceremonial lighting of incense and candles to honor the Triple Gem and presented floral offerings in tribute. The ceremony was accompanied by a sacred chanting performed by 10 Buddhist monks at the Prof. Kasan Chatikavanij Lecture Hall, Office of President.
