On February 16, 2024 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) organized “Judging of the Creative Media Design Challenge: Graphic and Video Media Creation to Promote Thai Culture Using ICT”. The judging committee included Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resource; together with Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology; Mr. Supakorn Panpithak, Educator from the Office of Academic Administration; Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid, Audio-Visual Technical Officer; as well as Mr. Manas Wattana, Audio-Visual Technical Officer from Audio Visual and Digital Learning Media Development Department. On this occasion, Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, served as the MC for the event at the Innovative Space, 1st floor, the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya.

o 2nd Prize: Mr. Wanus Kurirung and Miss Saranyaporn Kunawongkrit, 4th Year ICT International Program Student

o Honorable Mention Prize: Miss Tunjeera Wangsri, 3rd Year ICT International Program Student and Mr. Naruparn Phongsarnariyakul, 4th Year ICT International Program Student

The competition aimed to promote the use of IT in Thai culture through the creation of graphic and video media. These media were designed to promote Thai culture during various festivals in Thailand, such as the Loy Krathong Festival, Songkran Festival, New Year Festival, important Buddhist holidays, such as Makha Bucha Day, Visakha Bucha Day, Asalha Bucha Day, Buddhist Lent Day, and the End of Buddhist Lent Day.
