On March 16, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Dr. Akara Supratak, along with Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, who are instructors of the ITGE145 E-Sport and Content Streaming course, organized the “E-sport Competition” event for students of both the B.Sc. in International and Communication Technology (ICT International) and the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program). This competition featured two video games: Arena of Valor and Valorant. The event took place at Computer Laboratory IT105, Meeting Rooms A1, A2, A3, and the Innovative Space on the 1st floor of the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya.
The winning team of this competition was “HINGHOII,” composed of Mr. Sutthiphon Thankam, Mr. Chavalit Savittrakul, 4th year student, together with Mr. Jatenipat Ausanarassamee, 3rd year student of ICT International Program, as well as Mr. Supasan Liengchaisiri, 3rd year student of DST Thai Program.
Its primary objective was to enable students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world event organization. Moreover, it sought to enhance crucial skills among students, including event hosting, teamwork, and problem-solving. Additionally, the competition served as a platform to expose students to contemporary business practices and insights from partnering companies.
