On December 16, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Dolvara Guna-Tilaka, instructors of the course ITDS331 Embedded and Cyber-Physical Systems, along with Dr. Sirawich Vachmanus, Instructor of the Computer Science Academic Group, guided the 3rd-year students of B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) on a study visit to Siam Toyota Manufacturing Co., Ltd, Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate.
During the visit, the ICT Mahidol group was warmly welcomed by the company’s staffs, who then guided them on a tour of the facility, offering an overview of the IT operations across various departments.
The objective of this visit was to offer students an opportunity to learn about the applications of information technology and the use of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and innovation systems in industrial factories. The visit also aimed to enhance and develop students’ skills in digital science and technology, as well as other skills relevant to real-world applications and work environments, through learning from industry professionals.
