ICT Mahidol led DST Thai Program students to participate in a study visit at Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute (SNMRI), Department of Medical Services

On March 20, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sudsanguan Ngamsuriyaroj, Advisor to the Dean, and Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, who are instructors of the course ITDS201 Industry Problems and Experiences 2, led the 2nd year students of B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), in a study visit at Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute (SNMRI), Department of Medical Services. On this occasion, Ms. Suleepan Solanda, Head of Digital Medicine, gave a warm welcome to ICT Mahidol group at Conference Room, 5th floor, the Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute.

The objective of this activity was to provide students with insights into Hospital and Health Information Systems and familiarize them with the use of health information data within various departments of the institute, such as physical therapy, rehabilitation activities, assistive devices, disabled equipment demonstration centers, and speech correction. Additionally, it aimed to develop students’ skills in digital science and technology through learning from real-world practitioners.
