On January 29, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham, instructors for the course ITDS201 Industry Problems and Experiences 2, organized a special talk on the topic “Identity Identification and the Use of Blockchain in NDID.” The event was held for second-year students in the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program) via Webex Meetings.
On this occasion, Dr. Chakan Pramkaew, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of National Digital ID (NDID), served as the guest speaker. He shared insights on using Blockchain technology to enhance efficiency, security, and transparency in the NDID (National Digital ID) system, which serves as the digital identity verification infrastructure for the country.
