On January 8, 2025 – the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitinan Tantidham who are instructors of the course ITDS201 Industry Problems and Experiences 2, organized a special talk on “Business & Digital Sharing for Mahidol University.” On this occasion, Mr. Vinit Vichittanaporn, Senior Vice President Core Platforms Business, SCGJWD Logistics Public Company Limited, served as the guest speaker for the second-year students of the B.Sc. in Digital Science and Technology (DST, Thai Program) in Room IT204, 2nd floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.
The speaker imparted knowledge about careers in the IT field, ranging from support roles to software developer positions, with a focus on developing diverse application platforms. These included IoT, ChatBot, dashboard design for data visualization, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, and Machine Learning to facilitate data analysis and management.
Additionally, the session highlighted Low Code Application Platforms with drag-and-drop functionality, the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and concepts in Digital Solution Design. It emphasized encouraging students to formulate business-related problems, define KPIs, and manage abnormal cases as software developers. Essential knowledge areas covered included AI Transformation, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, Net Zero for sustainability, resilient supply chain management, cybersecurity, PDPA compliance, and organizational people and talent management.
