On September 10, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Lecturer Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Infrastructure and Technology and instructor of the course “ITCS404 Information Technology for Healthcare Services,” took fourth-year students from the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) on a study visit to the Medical Laboratory Section, Medical Department, Medical and Health Division, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT). During the visit, Ms. Panapa Nutprasasn, MT., Medical Science Officer Level 9, welcomed the group and provided an overview and tour of the Medical Laboratory Section.
The objective of the visit was to give students insights into the various processes of medical laboratories and the application of technology in medical work. This experience is intended to enhance students’ skills in information technology for healthcare systems and related areas by learning from professionals in the field.
