On September 9 and 11, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and instructor of the course ITCS451 Artificial Intelligence, hosted a special talk titled “Introduction to Classification Algorithms” for third-year students in the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program). The event was held in Room IT 323, on the third floor of the ICT Building at Mahidol University, Salaya.
On this occasion, Mr. Phaphontee Yamchote, a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at ICT Mahidol, served as the keynote speaker. During the talk, he shared insights into Classification Algorithms in Machine Learning, focusing on supervised learning methods that allow computers to find answers independently.
