ICT Mahidol organized an orientation ceremony for new graduate students, academic year 2024

On August 1, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), held an orientation ceremony for new graduate students for the academic year 2024 in the Ph.D. in Computer Science and Master’s programs: Cyber Security and Information Assurance, Game Technology and Gamification, and Computer Science. On this occasion, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, delivered a warm welcome speech to all students. Additionally, Asst. Dr. Jidapa Kraisangka, Assistant Dean for Academic and Curriculum Development, introduced an overview of postgraduate studies, at Room IT331, 3rd floor, ICT Building Salaya, and online via Webex Meetings.

Following that, the faculty members of the respective programs provided an overview of each curriculum, and the students were given the opportunity to inquire about the teaching and learning processes in each program, as follows:
• Ph. D. in Computer Science, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanapon Noraset, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, and Program Committee
• M. Sc. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasaka Visoottiviseth, Program Chair
• M. Sc. in Game Technology and Gamification, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mores Prachyabrued, Program Committee
• M. Sc. in Computer Science, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Boonsit Yimwadsana, Program Chair

After the course introductions, the Program Chairs and Committee of each program also guided students on a tour of the Faculty of ICT’s learning facilities, such as computer labs IT105 and IT106, Smart Classrooms, Co-working Space, Hall of Fame, and Mahidol-AIST Research Unit (MARU).
