On June 29, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with Sao Thong Hin Municipality School, organized the “Enhancing ICT Capabilities for Primary School Teachers at Sao Thong Hin Municipal School, Bang Yai District, Nonthaburi Province” training program for 10 teachers. On this occasion, Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, delivered the welcome address and opened the training in Room A2, 1st floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.
During the training, Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, conducted a knowledge-sharing session on the topic of “Basic Prompt Engineering.” This session provided fundamental knowledge about using various commands for artificial intelligence. Another session was conducted by Miss Sirirat Wittayakunsatid, Audio-Visual Technical Officer, on “NextGen Media Literacy: Creating Educational Media for the ‘AI First’ Era,” which offered insights into preparing for the use of AI technology to develop educational media more effectively and suitably for current times. After the knowledge-sharing sessions, Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul also presented certificates to the teachers who participated in the training at the Innovative Space.
The objective of this training program was to enhance the knowledge and skills in information and communication technology (ICT) for primary school teachers. This will enable teachers to apply their knowledge more effectively in teaching their students and help them transfer ICT knowledge and skills to primary school students, thus promoting the development of basic digital skills among students more effectively.
