On March 3–5 and 10–11, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with the Thailand Digital Government Academy (TDGA), organized the first cohort of the “Cybersecurity for Technologist (DGA309)” workshop.
The workshop featured expert instruction from Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, and Dr. Ittipon Rassameeroj, Assistant Dean for Infrastructure and Technology. They provided in-depth knowledge on key cybersecurity topics, including Security Overview, Cybersecurity Laws and Regulations, Risk Identification, Protection Strategies, Threat Detection, Incident Response, Recovery Planning, and Cybersecurity Incident Drills. The workshop was attended by 34 technology professionals at the Century Park Hotel, Bangkok.
This hands-on training program aims to raise awareness of legal responsibilities related to cybersecurity, enhance participants’ ability to manage security threats and digital risks, and equip them with practical skills to address cybersecurity challenges effectively. Based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, the course enables participants to apply their knowledge in developing robust cybersecurity strategies for their organizations.
