From July 8 – 12, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Thailand Digital Government Academy (TDGA), organized the workshop on, Cybersecurity for Technologist) (DGA309), Batch 2. On this occasion, Lect. Pagaporn Pengsart, Deputy Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, along with Dr. Ittipon Rassameeroj, Assistant Dean for Infrastructure and Technology, served as keynote speakers. They shared knowledge on various cybersecurity topics, including a Security Overview, Relevant Laws and Regulation, Risk Identification, Protection, Detection, Response, Recovery, and conducting incident drills to prepare for cyber-attacks with all participants. The workshop was held at VIC3 Bangkok Hotel in Bangkok.
The “Cybersecurity for Technologist” workshop aimed to raise awareness among participants about their legal roles and responsibilities concerning cybersecurity, enhance their understanding of managing security threats and digital risks in the digital era, following the NIST Cybersecurity Framework guidelines. The course also equipped attendees with the knowledge and skills to effectively plan and respond to digital threats and risks within their organizations.
