ICT Mahidol Showcased Academic Projects at “CUxMU Sustainability Fest 2025”

On March 22, 2025, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) participated in the “CUxMU Sustainability Fest 2025”, an event showcasing academic projects focused on sustainability. The event was honored by the presence of Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, and Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, along with executives from both universities. The exhibition took place at Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park.

ICT Mahidol selected two outstanding projects for the showcase:

  • “MosquitoSong: An IoT Device for Detecting and Classifying Mosquitoes from Their Wingbeat Sound”
  • “E-Commerce Platform for Mahasawat Products”

These projects were presented by Mr. Thitiwut Harnphatcharapanukorn, Mr. Jiruch Charoenchaiprakij, and Mr. Pongsakorn Kongkaewrasamee, fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (International Program).

The CUxMU Sustainability Fest 2025 was organized as a platform for students from Chulalongkorn University and Mahidol University to collaborate and present their sustainability-focused projects. Held for the first time, the event aimed to drive positive change, foster innovation for a sustainable future, and facilitate knowledge exchange among students, faculty, and staff from both institutions. It also contributed to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting sustainability initiatives at both national and regional levels.
