On April 27, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) organized a hands-on training program titled “Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), Batch 2” for 75 participants via Webex Meetings. On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Songpon Teerakanok, Instructor of the Computer Science Academic Group, served as the speaker. He shared essential foundational knowledge for beginners in the field of cybersecurity and preparation for the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) Certification Exam.
The objectives of this training were to equip participants with fundamental knowledge in cybersecurity, including Security Principles, Business Continuity (BC), Disaster Recovery (DR) & Incident Response Concepts, Access Controls Concepts, Network Security & Cryptography, and Security Operations, which are necessary for them to pass the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) Certification Exam in the future. Additionally, participants could apply their cybersecurity knowledge to their current work.
The Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) is a professional certification in Cybersecurity issued by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)². ISC² is a globally trusted organization widely recognized for its professional-level certifications in the field of Cybersecurity.
