On July 17, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), hosted an academic seminar on “Applied AI on Multidisciplinary Topics.” At the beginning of the session, Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, delivered the opening remarks.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapan Kusakunniran, the Head of the Machine Vision and Information Transfer Lab (MVIT) and Program Chair of the Ph.D. in Computer Science at ICT Mahidol, served as the guest speaker, sharing insights on “Applied AI on Image and Video Data.” Additionally, Asst. Prof. Wasakorn Laesanklang from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, presented on “AI in Vehicle Routing Problems.” The seminar was held in Room IT405, 4th floor, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya, and via Webex Meetings.
Following the session, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, the Dean, along with the faculty members of ICT Mahidol, also greeted the seminar participants and discussed and exchanged research knowledge together.
