On November 13, 2024, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), represented the President of Mahidol University at the academic conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and healthcare systems titled “Dialogue on Digital Trust in AI for Healthcare.” He also participated in a panel discussion on the topic “Areas of Opportunity and Challenge,” alongside faculty members from various universities at the Digital Trust Center, Nanyang Technological University, Republic of Singapore.

The “Dialogue on Digital Trust in AI for Healthcare” conference was co-organized by Nanyang Technological University and Newcastle University, Republic of Singapore. It aimed to provide a platform for AI experts from various universities to exchange knowledge on the role of AI in healthcare, focusing on new innovations and the integration of AI with medical sciences. The conference also facilitated discussions on managing security, governance, regulation, and safety issues related to the use of AI in health data collection and applications.
