ICT Mahidol students won 1st Place and 2nd Runner-Up at the “Bitkub Blockathon 2024: Ignite the NEXT Gen Developers” Competition

The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), extends its congratulations to Mr. Navadol Somboonkul, a second-year student of the Bachelor of Science in Digital Science and Technology (DST Thai Program), and a member of the “Lorem Dimsum” team in collaboration with Dong Sung Ki Innovation Co., Ltd., for winning 1st place along with a cash prize of 80,000 THB. Additionally, Mr. Napat Phongphichart, a third-year student of the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program), was awarded 2nd runner-up with a cash prize of 30,000 THB at the “Bitkub Blockathon 2024: Ignite The NEXT Gen Developers” competition. The competition focused on the themes “Bitkub Chain Challenge: Build, Develop, and Propose Token Utilities” and “Bitkub Exchange Challenge: Build, Develop, and Propose Financial Innovation,” with the results announced on October 19, 2024, at Plenary Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.

The Bitkub Blockathon 2024: Ignite the NEXT Gen Developers competition was organized by Bitkub Labs Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Bitkub Blockchain Technology Co., Ltd., and Bitkub Online Co., Ltd. The event aimed to provide a platform for developers and innovators to showcase their potential, create world-changing solutions, and emerge as leaders in the blockchain industry. Participants were encouraged to develop practical financial innovations within the Bitkub Ecosystem, addressing the needs of users in the digital era.
