ICT Mahidol organized a training program on “Enhancing ICT Skills for High School Students of the Maryvit Affiliated Schools”

On October 26 – 27, 2024, the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with the Maryvit Affiliated Schools, including Maryvit Sattahip School, Maryvit Bowin School, and Maryvit School Pattaya in Chonburi Province, organized a training program on “Enhancing ICT Skills for High School Students of the Maryvit Affiliated Schools.” This training aimed to develop ICT skills for 36 high school teachers and students, was held at Maryvit School Pattaya.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, served as the speaker. She shared her expertise on “Python & Machine Learning,” covering fundamental programming topics such as Python language syntax, basic operators, variables, strings, conditions, and loops. Additionally, concepts in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, Classification, and the deployment of machine learning models using the Streamlit command library were presented to all participants.

The training program “Enhancing ICT Skills for High School Students of the Maryvit Affiliated Schools” aimed to promote and support students in developing advanced knowledge and skills in information technology beyond regular classroom learning. Through this program, participants can apply their skills, knowledge, and training experiences to develop high-quality ICT solutions. Moreover, it aimed to enhance systematic thinking processes and provide new perspectives on technology that can contribute to lifelong learning and future innovation.
