On September 2, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), led by Dr. Pisit Praiwattana, Assistant Dean for Organizational Communications and Media Technology, welcomed students from the Yunnan Around Asia International Education Center (YAAE), People’s Republic of China, during their visit to the faculty. The visit included a tour of the faculty’s educational facilities, such as the Computer Lab IT 105 on the 1st floor, the Co-working Space on the 2nd floor, the Smart Classroom on the 3rd floor, the Grand Auditorium, and the Bits and Bytes Hall on the 4th floor of the ICT Building in Salaya. Additionally, participants also visited the Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, the MU Sport Complex at the Faculty of Sports Science and Technology, as well as Mahidol University International College (MUIC).
Following the tour, Ms. Wanpimon Senapadpakorn, Director of the Global Partnerships Division, along with faculty members from various faculties and institutes at Mahidol University—including the Faculty of ICT, MUIC, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, and the Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics—presented an overview of the international programs to all attendees at the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University.
During this session, Dr. Pisit Praiwattana introduced the Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program) and answered questions from the attendees. Additionally, Miss Jiahui Wu, a second-year student, and Miss Duanxuanli Tang, a third-year student, who represented the Chinese students from ICT Mahidol, shared their learning experiences with the students.
This visit was part of the Mahidol Open House activities, organized specifically for students from YAAE, People’s Republic of China. The objective was to provide an opportunity for students to visit various faculties of Mahidol University and receive information on undergraduate international programs.
