On August 17, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), in collaboration with Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom), organized a training program on “Enhancing ICT Skills for students of Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom), Batch 12,” on the topic “ICT skills for the young generation: Coding, Design, and Digital Innovation.” On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer, as well as Dr. Kamolchanok Parkpoom, Head of Teaching and Learning Supervision, delivered a warm welcome speech to the students. Faculty members from ICT Mahidol and teachers from the school also attended the opening ceremony held at the Innovative Space, 1st floor, the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya.
This training is an activity under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty of ICT and Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom School (Pratamnak Suankularb Matthayom). The program aims to enhance students’ knowledge of technology and information to a higher level, enabling them to apply the skills, knowledge, and experience gained from the training to further their studies. The program also seeks to develop systematic thinking processes through Project-Based and Problem-Based Learning.
This activity is held on August 17, 24, and 31, 2024 in computer labs: IT103 and IT104. The training covers the following topics:

o Training on “Python and Its Basic Applications” for senior high school students by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tipajin Thaipisutikul, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Technology Transfer
After the training, the students took a tram tour around Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
