On August 16, 2024, Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy, Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), together with Dr. Myat Su Yin, Researcher, representing the Dean, welcomed Prof. Dr. Wray Buntine, Director of the Computer Science Program at the College of Engineering and Computer Science, and Ph.D. students from VinUniversity, Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The delegation visited the Mahidol-Bremen Medical Informatics Research Unit (MIRU), where they were introduced to various research projects. The visit also included a meeting to discuss academic and research collaboration between the two universities at the MIRU Lab, 2nd floor.
Additionally, Prof. Dr. Wray Buntine also delivered special lectures on the topics “Active Learning with Neural Networks” to the faculty members and students in Room IT306, 3rd floor, Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, Salaya.
