The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol) received an outstanding level certificate for the “Workplace Safety Award 2024” from the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare. This marks the 8th consecutive year that ICT Mahidol has earned this prestigious recognition. The announcement was made on August 2, 2024.
The objectives of the “Workplace Safety Award 2024” are to cultivate a culture of safety and occupational health among students, preparing them for their future careers. The award aims to instill this culture across all sectors in Thailand and to encourage educational institutions nationwide to adhere to workplace safety criteria, creating a safe environment for their students. It also seeks to enhance attitudes and awareness regarding safety, occupational health, and the work environment for youth workers before they enter the labor market.
