On July 18-19, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized a hands-on workshop titled “Data Analysis and Dashboard Creation with Excel.” On this occasion, Dr. Siripen Pongpaichet, Assistant Dean for Information and Systems, along with Miss Siriporn Rojanakosol, Assistant Dean for Information Technology, and Mr. Prach Chaisiri, Computer Technical Officer from Information and Systems Department, served as the guest speakers. They provided knowledge on using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and dashboard creation to the participants. The event took place at the Computer Laboratory IT105, 1st floor, ICT Building, Salaya.
The objective of this workshop was to equip attendees with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its applications in data management. Topics covered included preparing data for use, automating data collection and management with Power Query, basic data analysis, effective data presentation techniques, and a workshop on creating dashboards. It also aimed to enhance participants’ proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and enable them to apply the acquired skills in their own work.
