ICT Mahidol student received funding to enhance innovation at the “Mahidol SDGs Impact Challenge 2024”

The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), congratulates Mr. Eakbodin Kanjanamuengtong, a second-year student in the B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT International Program). He is a member of the “Klong Klean” team, one of the five teams that received 200,000 Baht in funding to further develop their innovations. The funding was awarded at the “Mahidol SDGs Impact Challenge 2024” on June 25, 2024, held at the Foyer of the Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya.

The “Mahidol SDGs Impact Challenge 2024” was organized by the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT) in collaboration with the Division of Planning, the Division of International Relations, and the Division of Academic Affairs at Mahidol University. The objective was to equip students with skills in thinking, analysis, and planning through the Design Thinking process, focusing on analyzing problems within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event emphasized hands-on practice in the form of a Social Enterprise, with mentoring from experts throughout the project. The competition also included a pitching session to develop solutions that can be applied to solve problems, aiming for sustainability and positive impacts on the economy, society, and the environment.
