On June 6-7, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), organized a workshop on the “Information Security Management with ISO 27001: 2022.” On this occasion, Dr. Assadarat Khurat, Assistant Dean for Risk Management and Cybersecurity, together with Dr. Wudhichart Sawangphol, Assistant Dean for Research, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanwadee Sunetnanta, Instructor of the Computer Science Group and Software Engineering and Business Analytics Research Clusters (SEBA), served as the speakers. They shared knowledge about the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27002:2022 standards, which are the latest international standards for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), updated in 2022, with participants in Room A2, 1st floor, ICT Building, Mahidol University, Salaya.
The objective of this workshop was to provide participants with knowledge about the concepts, principles, and requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard, risk assessment, controls according to ISO/IEC 27002:2022, and Gap Analysis. This knowledge will enable participants to apply what they learned to their work and organizations effectively.
